Rattle Can Collective

An independent artist collective, founded by Seattle beat maker and music producer Lloyd Cris. Everything here is sold direct from the Collective.

Featuring NILS, the plugin that was built from the ground up directly by the Collective, for the Collective. For far too long there have been plugins that claim to have it all. NILS replaces them and then some. Get the plugin to replace them all, and get your projects on the path to release Quickly, Efficiently, and Effectively.

NILS

Embrace The Collective

NILS is the vocal chain that mixes itself. Put it on the vocal, press LISTEN & MIX, play thirty seconds, and it designs and runs the whole chain for that voice, then writes out every move it made so you can change any of it. A second NILS on the master bus masters the song to streaming loudness. Built over a year of mixing our own records, tuned for hip-hop first.

Inside: Eight-band dynamic EQ over a live analyzer, FET and opto compression, de-esser, saturation, reverb, delay, doubler, limiter, real-time pitch correction, a 19-device suite with BOTTOM END CLEANUP (weight without the mud), PREP for raw takes, and mastering with a written mix report
Formats: Windows 10/11 (64-bit): VST3 and CLAP. macOS 10.15+ (Apple silicon: macOS 11+): VST3, AU and CLAP, one universal build for Intel and Apple silicon
Download: One installer for your system: the Windows setup (.exe) or the Mac installer (.pkg). One run puts everything in place: the plugin, NILS Prep, the manual and 25 tutorial videos.
Version: 2.6.1, October 2026: a stability release. No clicks under automation, the same sound at any buffer size, and latency that never changes on bypass.
First 72 hours: Everything unlocked. After that, NILS asks for a serial.
Serial: On your screen the moment you pay, and emailed to you. One serial activates NILS on Windows and Mac. Activation is offline.
Refunds: None once a serial is registered. Use the 72 hours to decide.

$159per serial, plus applicable tax

Priced per project Email me with what you have and what you need, and we'll work out pricing and scope together. It helps to include: mixing, mastering or both; how many songs; how many tracks per song; when you need it; and a link to a rough mix.

Who we are

Rattle Can Collective is an independent artist collective. We do not bow down to any major label, nor do we wish to. The whole point is to maintain Independent status, where full control over what we do is paramount. Founded by Seattle-based beat maker and music producer Lloyd Cris, the Collective has grown strong. Artists like Mylz, DamonDaze, Xxero, and many more trust the Collective to deliver the results they need. It's time for you to Embrace The Collective.

NILS is a year of work put into a plugin we couldn't find, so we built it ourselves. Nothing here goes through a marketplace. You pay the Collective directly, and we send you the files.

More plugins are in the works. NILS and the beat store are what is live today.
