NILS is the vocal chain that mixes itself. Put it on the vocal, press LISTEN & MIX, play thirty seconds, and it designs and runs the whole chain for that voice, then writes out every move it made so you can change any of it. A second NILS on the master bus masters the song to streaming loudness. Built over a year of mixing our own records, tuned for hip-hop first.

- One installer for your system: the Windows setup (.exe) or the Mac installer (.pkg). One run puts everything in place: the plugin, NILS Prep, the manual and 25 tutorial videos.

- 2.6.1, October 2026: a stability release. No clicks under automation, the same sound at any buffer size, and latency that never changes on bypass.
- First 72 hours
- Everything unlocked. After that, NILS asks for a serial.
- Serial
- On your screen the moment you pay, and emailed to you. One serial activates NILS on Windows and Mac. Activation is offline.
- Refunds
- None once a serial is registered. Use the 72 hours to decide.
Checkout opens on Stripe’s secure page (card, Apple Pay or Google Pay). Each installer is the full plugin, the same file whether you buy first or after your 72 hours. First install: if Windows says “Windows protected your PC”, click More info, then Run anyway. On a Mac, if it says the developer can’t be verified, Control-click the installer and choose Open (macOS 15 and newer: System Settings, Privacy & Security, Open Anyway). How the free trial works
Seventy-two hours with nothing held back. Mix your own songs with it before you spend a dollar.
Download
Enter your email and the installer for your computer starts downloading. One run puts in the plugin, NILS Prep, the manual and 25 tutorial videos.
Mix with it
Your 72 hours start the first time NILS opens in your DAW. Everything is unlocked: the automatic mix, the 19-device suite, TUNE and mastering.
Keep it
Buy a serial for $159 when you're ready. It shows on screen the moment you pay. Paste it into NILS and you're done, on Windows and Mac.
After 72 hours without a serial, NILS passes your audio through unchanged. Serials can't be refunded once issued, so use the trial to decide.
